My colleague Karl Turner MP has written a letter which I was very happy to put my signature to.

The letter is addressed to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government and is asking the Government to provide additional funding to local councils so that they have the funds to communicate properly with residents.

At this time of unprecedented crisis in the UK public information is key and it is essential that local authorities can provide the public with all necessary information that will help save lives.
